Lifetime Vision Source of Lebanon, a Vision Source office since 2001, is looking for a full-time associate with ownership potential. Our semi-rural clinic is primary care focused and we see patients of all ages. Being comfortable with managing acute and chronic ocular disease is a must. We are open to fostering other subspecialties as well. We are one of two eye care clinics in Lebanon, and have a great relationship with our colleagues at the ophthalmology clinic across town.
As a valued member of our team, you will earn a competitive salary, medical, dental, 18 days paid vacation/sick time off per year, 3% contribution to 401k after a year with the practice, Oregon Optometric Physician’s Association dues paid, and $1,000/year for continuing education.
Very competent and friendly staff help at all levels of the patient experience from insurance verification in advance to personal check in and answering phones to patient pretesting to optical.. We are firm believers in using the latest technology in diagnosis and management, and have invested in a Radus XR visual field unit with Humphrey as backup, Topcon Chronos autorefraction with digital phoropters, Neurolens VR headsets in every exam room, and Optos Monaco with built in macular and optic nerve oct screening. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests
Diagnose defects of the eye, such as refractive error, cataracts, and glaucoma
Provide personalized solutions to sight issues based on each patient’s specific case and medical history
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
Advise patients on proper eye care techniques
Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients
Book next appointments in cases where re-examination is required
Train patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses
Make appropriate referrals when patients need to undergo surgery or in cases of severe eye injuries
Skills
Work experience as an Optometrist preferred
